My research interests encompass a range of strategies, tooling, and insights aimed at enhancing software development processes and practices. My current research focuses on building tools and techniques to synthesize raw online user feedback into requirements through empirical research, collaboration with industry practitioners, and analysis of online repositories. My work automates the process for end-user feedback analysis and brings forth best practices for effectively managing user feedback for requirements engineering.

  • Jan 2024:I am excited to serve as Co-Instructor for the course SENG321: Requirements Engineering at the University of Victoria.
  • Oct 2023:Our paper “Understanding User Feedback in Software Ecosystems: A Study on Challenges and Mitigation Strategies” has been accepted by ICSOB 2023.
  • Aug 2023:Our paper “Unveiling the Life Cycle of User Feedback: Best Practices from Software Practitioners” has been accepted by ICSE 2024 Technical Track.
  • May 2023:Our paper “A Data-Driven Approach for Finding Requirements Relevant Feedback from TikTok and YouTube” has been accepted by the Requirements Engineering 2023 Technical Track.
